Meeting audio, transcripts and summaries never leave your Mac.

That holds for backups too: the Mac app excludes its data folder from Time Machine and every other backup tool, so a lost Mac takes its library with it — export the notes you want to keep.

Licence activation logs

Activating a licence contacts our server. That request carries an IP address, which is personal data. Here is exactly what we do with it.

Licence-abuse detection, failed-activation diagnostics, and support.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest — fraud prevention and service security.

Retention

12 rolling months, then automatic purge.

Scope

Activation logs only. Never a note, a title, a duration, a recording, or the name of your Mac — we receive the hardware model, never the machine name.

Buying a licence

Payment happens on Stripe, which collects your e-mail address, name, billing address and card details as the payment processor. We receive your e-mail address once, to send you the key and the invoice, and keep only Stripe's identifiers for the purchase — not the address, not the name, never the card. The key is kept readable on the confirmation page for 24 hours, then only its hash remains.

Sends the one e-mail we send: your key and your invoice link.
